Today, 13 March 2009 (Friday), is another milestone of eXpatPinoy.com.

Why? Because today is the day eXpatPinoy.com’s CLASSIFIEDS starts accepting ads.

From inception to completion, it was not an easy task  though.

The countless hours and nights spent going through the process, like:

• Searching for the right classifieds script,
• Assessing the many scripts available,
• Evaluating the prices and features (frankly Budget),
• Installing them at eXpatPinoy.com (this is outside my comfort zone),
• Setting the options like colors, design, features; and lastly,
• Finalizing for your use (honestly, it is the nerve to let it go).

Though the processes were tedious and sometimes frustrating, I noticed, I was enjoying it all along. Little successes made as I moved on were a joy in itself and much more when it was completed. (At last, it’s done!)

Wait … though eXpatPinoy.com and the CLASSIFIEDS, in particular, were conceived with the millions of expat Pinoys in mind, I have to state it here upfront. They are both for everyone; Pinoy or Not, Expats or Not.

Why?

Because I believe that public service has no boundary, no color nor race. It is simply for everyone, whoever you are, wherever you are. It is for you, who wants to sell, buy, offer, want, announce and more.

Why I am doing this, you may ask.

I did this because I benefitted from it. I found my replacement on my previous job (2 months ago) through this kind of classifieds - FREE. I could not believe it at first but it happened.

This is my way of returning the favor. I am simply, Paying Forward, to say.
